RESOLUTION NO. 6 2 7 5 <br /> A RESOLUTION adopting the Everett Parks and Recreation Department's Six Year <br /> Capital Improvement Plan and designating the updated Strategic Master Plan as the <br /> Everett Parks and Recreation Comprehensive Plan through December 31, 2015 <br /> WHEREAS,on March 21, 2007, the Everett City Council approved Resolution No. 5882, <br /> adopting a Strategic Master Plan for the Everett Parks and Recreation Department ; and <br /> WHEREAS, Resolution No. 5882 required that the Parks and Recreation Department <br /> work with the Board of Park Commissioners to develop and recommend a series of <br /> projects for City Council approval; and <br /> WHEREAS,Resolution No. 5882 further stated that City Council approval of the <br /> recommended series of projects shall then constitute the Everett Parks and Recreation <br /> Department's capital improvement plan; and <br /> WHEREAS, during the course of the past three years, the Board of Park <br /> Commissioners discussed and evaluated potential projects at regular meetings and <br /> workshops of the Board of Park Commissioners; and <br /> WHEREAS,at its November 10, 2009 regular meeting,the Board of Park <br /> Commissioners recommended to City Council a series of projects that should constitute <br /> the Everett Parks and Recreation Department's six year capital improvement plan; and <br /> WHEREAS, the recommended six year capital improvement plan(2010—2015) <br /> underwent an environmental analysis by the City of Everett(SEPA 10-003); and <br /> WHEREAS,a Determination of Non-Significance was issued by the City of Everett's <br /> Planning Department on February 3, 2010 for the six year capital improvement plan <br /> (2010—2015); and <br /> WHEREAS,the six year capital improvement plan(2010—2015)will comply with all <br /> critical areas land use planning and development regulations; and <br /> WHEREAS, subsequent to February 3, 2010, the Board of Park Commissioners <br /> recommended approval to City Council of a"Riverfront Development Public Amenities <br /> Master Plan"at its March 9, 2010 regular meeting; and <br /> WHEREAS, the Everett City Council adopted the Riverfront Development Public <br /> Amenities Master Plan at its March 31, 2010 regular meeting; and <br /> 1 <br />
