Additional revisions or additions may be <br /> required by other departments (such as Utilities, Planning or Fire). All references refer to the <br /> (2012 International Building Code,) (2012 International Residential Code,) as amended by the <br /> State of Washington and/or Washington State Energy Code 2012 Edition, and adopted by the <br /> City of Everett, unless stated otherwise. <br /> In order for the processing of your application to continue, it will be necessary to <br /> provide the Building Division with two new complete sets of drawings reflecting the <br /> corrections requested. <br /> 1. Plans shall clearly define the scope of the work to be done under this permit. Provide <br /> floor plan that clearly shows all new construction and defines repairs made to existing <br /> structure. All walls on the floor plans shall be shown as new existing or removed with <br /> the corresponding symbol defined in the legend, including where garage door is <br /> removed and replaced with a framed wall. <br /> 2. Label all rooms for the intended use. <br /> 3. Based on the location of the structure on the property, no new windows are allowed to <br /> be installed on either side of the existing dwelling. See section R302 of the International <br /> Residential Code (IRC) <br /> 4. Provide stair detail and/or section. Show all components of stairs including stringer size <br /> and quantity, rise, run, handrail size and placement (with ends returned) headroom and <br /> required landing locations and size.
