The code requires stairs to be a minimum of 36 inches clear to the face <br /> of the wall finish. <br /> 6. Provide Washington State Energy Code (WSEC) compliance information including <br /> U-value of all windows and doors, insulation value in all components (ceiling, walls, <br /> floor, below grade walls). Show insulation required in all existing exterior walls. <br /> 7. Provide minimum 100 CFM exhaust fan in the kitchen. The fan shall be vented to the <br /> exterior of the building. Specify which option from Table 406.2 of the Washington State Energy Code (WSEC) <br /> you are using to achieve the minimum credits (0.5) required for compliance with the <br /> WSEC. Show requirement on the plans, do not simply reference the option chosen. <br /> 13. Provide gravity calculations for beams supporting roof and ceiling joists.
