Pelota mixteca games could be played when <br /> there is not a high demand for parking in the north lot. At such <br /> times, the vehicular gates at the east end of the court would be <br /> closed. <br /> Viewpoint and View Terrace <br /> The best location to take in distant views of the mountains is at <br /> the highest elevation, located at the south edge of the park <br /> between Highland Avenue and Summit Avenue. The viewpoint <br /> and view terrace both overlook the athletic fields, from a height <br /> of approximately 17.5 feet above the fields, toward Mount <br /> Baker to the north and the Cascade Range to the northeast. <br /> Eastern views of the mountains and glimpses of the Snoho- <br /> mish River open up in the winter when the trees lose their <br /> leaves. <br /> 42 City of Everett <br />
