However,for efficient committee management,formal seats for decision making will be <br /> restricted to members who have signed the Consortium Agreement. Initial members of this Steering <br /> Committee lare[MPI,21: <br /> • Community Development Collaborative/Impact Capital Equity Partnership, Chair <br /> • Allen Renaissance Tacoma <br /> • A Regional Coalition for Housing(ARCH) <br /> • Cascade Land Conservancy(CLC) <br /> • King County Housing and Community Development Program <br /> • Public Health—Seattle&King County <br /> • Puget Sound Regional Council <br /> • Tacoma-Pierce County Health Department <br /> • Tacoma-Pierce County Affordable Housing Consortium <br /> Support: The Equity Network Manager housed at Impact Capital, a Consortium partner,will act as staff <br /> lead,with support from other Growing Transit Community and Consortium Partner staff as needed. <br /> Meeting Schedule: The Committee will meet as determined by its Chair and Vice-chair to receive <br /> information from Steering Committees,Taskforces, and Working Groups about progress on project tasks <br /> and to provide high-level guidance and decision-making for the project. <br /> Affordable Housing Steering Committee. This steering committee will have public and private, and <br /> nonprofit housing developers, affordable housing advocates, local government, and public health agencies <br /> from all parts of the region. The Steering Committee will select a Chair and Vice chair by consensus. As <br /> work progresses, additional jurisdictions and stakeholders will be invited and encouraged to participate in <br /> the Committee. <br /> Role: Members will be responsible for overseeing staff conducting the affordable housing research <br /> and legislative tasks, contained in Elements B and D of the Growing Transit Communities work <br /> program, see Memorandum of Understanding Attachment B. <br /> Key Products: Analysis of Impediments Report;trainings/workshops/regionally coordinated <br /> educational&marketing materials for fair housing; Housing dispersion assessment and <br /> recommendations; documentation of TOD Affordable Housing Fund findings and recommendations; <br /> Growing Transit Communities Consortium Agreement Attachment A:Consortium Structure and Organization <br /> Cooperative Agreement Instrument No.WARIP0042-10 <br /> DRAFT May 13,2011 <br />
