May 17, 2017 <br /> The regular meeting of the Everett City Council was called to order at 6:30 <br /> p.m., May 17, 2017, in the City Council Chambers of the William E. Moore <br /> Historic City Hall, Council President Tuohy presiding. Upon roll call, it was <br /> found that Mayor Stephanson and Council Members Roberts, Moore, <br /> Franklin, Bader, Stonecipher, and Tuohy were present. Council Member <br /> Murphy was excused. <br /> Council Member Stonecipher led the Pledge of Allegiance. <br /> The minutes of the May 10, 2017, City Council meeting were approved as <br /> printed. Council Member Stonecipher abstained from the vote. <br /> MAYOR <br /> Mayor Stephanson commented on the announcement that Alaska Airlines <br /> will begin flights from Paine Field in 2018. <br /> APPOINTMENT <br /> Moved by Council Member Stonecipher, seconded by Council Member <br /> Moore, to concur with the following appointment: <br /> Everett Historical Commission <br /> Appointment of Patrick Hall to Alternate Position 1 for the remainder <br /> of a 6-year term expiring December 31, 2022. <br /> Roll was called with all council members voting yes, except Council Member <br /> Murphy who was excused. <br /> Motion carried. <br /> Mayor Stephanson stated there would be a public hearing regarding <br /> supportive housing on Thursday, May 18, at 6 p.m. in the Everett Station <br /> Weyerhaeuser Room. He asked Deputy City Attorney David Hall to clarify <br /> the type of public hearing that will take place. <br /> 169 <br />
