May 24, 2017 <br /> The regular meeting of the Everett City Council was called to order at <br /> 12:30 p.m., May 24, 2017, in the City Council Chambers of the William E. <br /> Moore Historic City Hall, Council President Tuohy presiding. Upon roll call, <br /> it was found that Mayor Stephanson and Council Members Roberts, <br /> Moore, Murphy, Franklin, Bader, and Tuohy were present. Council <br /> Members Franklin and Stonecipher were excused. <br /> Council Member Murphy led the Pledge of Allegiance. <br /> The minutes of the May 17, 2017, City Council meeting were approved as <br /> printed. Council Member Murphy abstained from the vote. <br /> MAYOR <br /> Mayor Stephanson had no comments. <br /> COUNCIL <br /> Council Member Roberts commented on his attendance at the <br /> Transportation Advisory Committee (TAC) meeting last Thursday. He also <br /> reported on upcoming opportunities for the public to provide comments on <br /> the update of the Everett Transit Plan that will kick off online beginning <br /> June 1 and in person on June 8. Council Member Roberts also <br /> commented on the TAC Committee scheduling. He reported on his <br /> attendance at the last meeting of the Vision Committee and thanked all <br /> who served on the committee. Council Member Roberts also commented <br /> on the Casino Road Stakeholders meeting that was held yesterday. <br /> Council Member Moore announced the Governor's Summit on Career <br /> Connected Learning, hosted by Everett Public Schools, is scheduled for <br /> Wednesday, May 31, 2017, from 10 a.m. to 1:30 p.m. He also <br /> President Tuohy thanked the EnVision Everett Committee for their work, <br /> and stated she looked forward to the committee presentation in June. <br /> President Tuohy called for a motion to authorize the following street <br /> closure. <br /> 175 <br />
