Drawings are stamped and signed <br /> 2. Additional energy requirements are being addressed as follows. The house is classified as a <br /> "Small Dwelling Unit,"therefore, .5 points are required. We choose option 1a,therefore <br /> windows and floor insulation have been upgraded as shown on the drawings. <br /> OLD COMMENTS: <br /> 1. Smoke alarms per R314 IRC have been added inside each bedroom on the Main Floor Plan sheet <br /> Al. A note has been added toward the right side of the floor plan indicating to provide smoke <br /> alarms in the basement, outside each hallway,and the attic. <br /> 3. Required illumination in interior occupied rooms will be provided with electric light at the levels <br /> required. Since we have not selected fixtures yet, I have provided a calculation that shows how <br /> many bulbs are required. Footcandle levels will be verified after installation and more bulbs <br /> added as needed to meet the minimum lighting levels. <br /> For ventilation to meet M1507.3, I added a whole house ventilation fan with exhaust and supply <br /> ducting. Please reference revised "Light&Air Diagram"sheet A5. <br /> 6. Ventilation Calculations—Per 2012 IRC Section R408.2, please reference revised drawing 5 on <br /> sheet A6 which shows the vents locations and calculation. <br /> 8. I've updated the framing notes and added some for the wall framing on sheet A3. There are <br /> also wall framing notes on the floor plan on sheet A3. <br /> 9. The R10 insulation in the header is shown on sheet A3. I've clouded it to make it easier for you <br /> to see. I've also added a typical cross section detail 6 on sheet A6. <br /> Two new complete sets of plans, er.
