City of Everett
Floyd Snider Environmental Services
• Coordination with the City regarding reporting to WDNR the sampling results and
documentation.
Assumptions: It is assumed that the Sediment Sampling Plan and QAPP preparation is
streamlined and that plan documents prepared by others for prior sampling activities at Outfall
#100 can be used as a template. This scope assumes collection of 9 sediment grab samples as
prescribed in the DNR Easement, 1 duplicate sample, and 1 matrix spike/matrix spike duplicate
(MS/MSD) sample, for a total of 11 analyzed samples. This scope assumes undisturbed samples
of the top 10 centimeters of sediment will be collected using a Van Veen or similar vessel-
deployed grab sampler, and that sampling will be completed in 1 day, by one Floyd Snider and
City field personnel with the vessel and grab sampler operated by a sediment sampling
subcontractor contracted directly to the City. This scope assumes that additional sediment
volume for bioassay testing is not conducted. This scope assumes laboratory analyses are
contracted directly to the City. This task assumes results are reported to DNR in a
memorandum format, including a summary of sampling activities and results, a table of data,
and a figure presenting sample locations. This task assumes no in-person meetings are
required, and coordination with the City, DNR, and Ecology is done by the City, unless directed
to email and/or phone agencies. This task assumes laboratory electronic data deliverables are
provided in the format stated in the work plan and QAPP.
Deliverables: This scope assumes preparation of three hardcopies of all deliverables—one for
the project record, two for the City, (with one for submittal to DNR). The City will also be
provided with an electronic copy of the draft and final submittals. The final Sediment Sampling
and Analysis Report will be provided in hardcopy and electronically to the City.
Schedule: The data and results must be submitted to DNR by January 1, 2018. To meet this
timeframe, development of the sampling plan documents will be completed by July 31, 2017.
Sediment sample collection will be conducted following sampling plan development in August
or September 2017 to allow sufficient time for receipt of data and reporting prior to the
January 1, 2018, deadline. Sample collection is expected to require 1 day for completion, and
may be conducted in coordination with outfall inspection work directed by the City. The final
Sediment Sampling and Analysis Report will be submitted to the City prior to November 30,
2017, and will be developed following completion of sampling in late summer or fall 2017.
Task 2300–Post-Construction Monitoring Plan Support (New Task)
Scope: F IS will conduct the following activities for post-construction monitoring plan support:
• Provide content based on City outline for 'Sediment Quality' section of the PCMP.
• Correspondence with the City (email/phone conference) to relay data, information
and feedback.
C:\Users\megank\AppData\Local\Microsoft\Windows\Temp Scope of Work Amendment
orary Internet Files\Content.Outlook\WHF19RSO\FS SOW
Amendment 4 ms 052217.docx
