RESOLUTION NO. 3354 A RESOLUTION pursuant to the Uniform Housing Code authorizing the clearing of junk, debris, trash, garbage and vegetation from the house and premises of the property situated at 7716 E. Casino Road, Everett, WA. WHEREAS, the City of Everett Planning/Community Development Director has found that the house and premises situated at 7716 Casino Road are substandard and endangers the life, limb, health, property, safety and welfare of the public and the occupant pursuant to the Uniform Housing Code; and WHEREAS, the City Council finds that the Planning/Community Development Director issued a Supplemental Notice and Order requiring the owner of the property to remove all junk, debris, trash, garbage and vegetation from the house and premises; and WHEREAS, the City Council finds that removal of all junk, debris, trash, garbage and vegetation from the property has not taken place as was required in the Order; and WHEREAS, the City Council finds that the Order issued by the Planning/Community Development Director was properly served on the owner of the property in question; and WHEREAS, the City Council finds that the Planning/Community Development Director has the authority to recommend this action pursuant to the Uniform Housing Code; and WHEREAS, the City Council finds that the owner of the property at 7716 E. Casino Road, Everett, Washington has been given Notice of the Council meeting; and WHEREAS, the City Council finds that there has been no appeal of the Order or Supplemental Order issued by the Planning/Community Development Director and that the appeal period has expired; and WHEREAS, the City Council, upon due consideration, deems it in the best interest of the health, safety and welfare of the public that this Resolution be adopted requiring the removal of all junk, debris, trash, garbage and vegetation from the house and premises; NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED THAT: 1. That the house and premises located at 7716 E. Casino Road, Everett, Washington; which is legally described as follows; contains conditions which endanger the life, limb, health, property, safety and welfare of the public and the occupant: Lot 7, Block 3, Beverly Home Tracts, Division No 1, as per plat recorded in Volume 10 of Plats on page 9, records of Snohomish County EXCEPT the East 10 feet conveyed to the City of Everett under Auditor's File No. 2132074 Situate in the County of Snohomish, State of Washington
