Drew Nielsen (Attorney for Mr. & Mrs. Shapley) Submittal <br /> After due consideration of the evidence presented by the Applicant; evidence <br /> elicited during the public hearing; and as the result of the personal <br /> inspection of the subject property and surrounding areas by the Everett <br /> Hearing Examiner, the following findings of fact and conclusions constitute <br /> the basis of the decision of the Everett Hearing Examiner. <br /> FINDINGS OF FACTS <br /> 1. The Applicants requested approval of a Special Property Use Permit for <br /> property located at 6533 Beverly Lane, Everett, Washington. The Special <br /> Property Use Permit is for the expansion of a child day care center to a <br /> mini day care facility for up to twelve children. The facility will <br /> operate five days per week (Monday through Friday) from 6:00 a.m. to <br /> 6:00 p.m. <br /> 2. The lot on which the subject property is located contains 14,160 square <br /> feet. On-site is a residence that is approximately 1,337 square feet. <br /> The site, located on the east side of Beverly Lane between Tamarack <br /> Avenue and Beech Street, is the only property with a driveway access to <br /> Beverly Lane in this area. <br /> 3. The existing day care center on-site will be expanded to allow an <br /> increase of six children. This will double the size of the operation <br /> and will increase the activity on-site. <br /> 7 ' <br /> 4 <br />
