000008 <br /> Bay Ridge Development Order <br /> May 26, 1989 <br /> Page -3- <br /> 2. The internal school bus pick up may create safety problems because of <br /> the lack of space for the maneuverability of the school buses. <br /> Accordingly, the school bus pick up shall be on S.R. 527 at the location <br /> of the transit pull-out. <br /> 3. In order to adequately protect safety of children entering and existing <br /> the school bus, additional right-of-way shall be required to be <br /> dedicated for transit/school bus pick up. This amount and location of <br /> this right-of-way shall be determined by the Engineering Department of <br /> the City of Everett. <br /> AMENDED DECISION <br /> Based on the preceding Findings of Facts and:Conclusions and the April 18, <br /> 1989, Decision of the Everett Hearing ;Examiner, it is hereby amended as <br /> follows: <br /> 1. Condition #25 as set forth in the April 18, 1989, Decision is deleted. <br /> 2. The following additional condition shall be imposed as a condition of <br /> approval: <br /> The Applicant shall provide a school bus pick up stop off S.R. 527. <br /> This area shall be located in the same location as the transit bus <br /> stop. In order to provide enough room for safe egress and ingress to <br /> and from the buses, the Applicant shall dedicate additional right-of-way <br /> off S.R. 527 for the bus stop. The exact amount of right-of-way shall <br /> be determined by the Department of Engineering. <br /> All other conditions of approval, as set forth in the April 18, 1989, Decision <br /> remain as stated. <br /> RESPONSE TO MOTIONS FOR RECONSIDERATION <br /> As noted in the opening paragraph of this document, various parties submitted <br /> requests for reconsideration. They will be addressed in the order stated on <br /> each motion. <br /> I. Brad Cattle <br /> 1. Mr. Cattle's first issue of reconsideration refers to Condition #25, the <br /> school bus pick up on the internal road of the development. This issue <br /> has been addressed above. <br /> 2. Mr. Cattle requested reconsideration of Condition #29. Condition #29 is: <br /> Pedestrian access: <br /> Pedestrian access shall be provided to 24th Drive S.E. <br /> The Applicant shall be responsible for acquiring and <br /> improving said access. <br /> 00 039 <br />
