September 2, 2015 <br />Dennis Derickson, Planning Consultant to the Port of Everett, stated that <br />the height of the buildings in the waterfront zone is still 35 feet and the <br />only structure that is 75 feet is the tower. <br />Peter Newland, Everett, spoke regarding the articles in The New Yorker <br />about the earthquake that could devastate the Pacific Northwest. He <br />requested the articles be entered as a part of the permanent record. <br />Moved by Council Member Moore, seconded by Council Member <br />Roberts, to close the public hearing. <br />Roll was called with all council members voting yes. <br />Motion carried. <br />COUNCIL BILL NO. 1508-21 <br />THIRD AND FINAL READING: <br />AN ORDINANCE amending Ordinance No. 2600-02, the <br />Shoreline Master Program, as amended and amending the <br />Everett Comprehensive Plan Text, amending Ordinance No. <br />2021-94 (Comprehensive Plan), as amended and amending <br />Ordinance No 1671-89 (Title 19 EMC), as amended, related to <br />location of Residential Uses at Waterfront Place Central. <br />Moved by Council Member Moore, seconded by Council Member Roberts, <br />that this is declared to be the third and final reading of Council Bill No. <br />1508-21 and the City Clerk is directed to call the roll for the final <br />disposition of the ordinance. <br />AYES: Roberts, Moore, Murphy, Gipson, Bader, Stonecipher, <br />Tuohy <br />NAYS: None <br />Ordinance No. 3445-15 adopted. <br />265 <br />
