Miehael Brick <br /> From: Michael Brick <br /> Sent: Friday, February 05, 2016 4:10 PM <br /> To: Kirk Brooks <br /> Cc: Benyam Stephanos; Tony Lee; Paul McKee <br /> Subject: 2702 Colby/ Peoples' Bank Alley Closure �. <br /> Kirk, <br /> Traffic Engineering can approve Gaffney Construction's request for a full closure of the alley immediately behind 2702 <br /> Colby with the following conditions: <br /> � A Symbolic"NO LEFT TURN" (MUTCD# R3-2)sign must be placed along Everett Ave at the alley to advise <br /> westbound drivers that the turn into the alley is closed. <br /> • A Symbolic"NO RIGHT TURN" (R3-1) sign must be placed along Everett Ave at the alley to advise eastbound <br /> drivers that the turn into the alley is closed. <br /> • "ROAD CLOSED" (R11-2) signs must be placed at the north and south ends of the alley closure area. <br /> • A "ROAD CLOSED AHEAD" (W20-3) sign must be placed at the south end of the alley,just north of California St, <br /> to advise northbound drivers entering the alley that the alley is closed in this block. <br /> I think these cover all of the traffic control issues associated with the requested closure.
