a <br /> RESOLUTION NO. -5(.., C, .? <br /> A RESOLUTION authorizing the <br /> demolition of a building situated <br /> at 7606 Beverly Boulevard <br /> WHEREAS, the City of Everett Building Official has found that the <br /> building which is located at 7606 Beverly Blvd. is a dangerous building <br /> pursuant to Section 302 of the Uniform Code for the Abatement of Dangerous <br /> Buildings; and <br /> WHEREAS, the City Council finds that the Building Official issued an <br /> Order requiring the owners of the property to make the necessary repairs or <br /> to demolish the building; and <br /> WHEREAS, the City Council finds that the repairs or demolition have <br /> not taken place as was required in the Order; and <br /> WHEREAS, the City council finds that the Order issued by the Building <br /> Official was properly served on one owner of the property in question; and <br /> WHEREAS, the City Council finds that the Order issued by the Building <br /> Official and sent by certified mail to the two remaining owners of the <br /> property in question has been returned to the City marked "Unclaimed;" and <br /> WHEREAS, the City Council finds that the Building Official has the <br /> authority to recommend this action pursuant to the Uniform Code for the <br /> Abatement of Dangerous Buildings; and <br /> WHEREAS, the City Council finds that the owners have been given <br /> notice of this Council meeting; and <br /> WHEREAS, the City Council finds that there has been no appeal of the <br /> Order issued by the Building Official and that the appeal period has <br /> expired; and <br /> WHEREAS, the City Council, upon due consideration, deems it in the <br /> best interest of the health, safety and welfare of the public that a <br /> Resolution be adopted requiring the demolition of the building; <br />
