NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY OF EVERETT: <br /> Section 1: That the building located at 7606 Beverly Blvd., which is <br /> legally described as follows, contains conditions which endanger the life, <br /> limb, property, safety and welfare of the public: <br /> Lot 1 and the North half of Lot 2, Block 8, Beverly Park, <br /> as per plat recorded in Volume 8 of Plats, page 24, <br /> records of Snohomish County, Washington; EXCEPT West 78 <br /> feet thereof <br /> Section 2: That the above-described building is hereby declared a <br /> dangerous building as is defined in the Uniform Code for the Abatement of <br /> Dangerous Buildings. <br /> Section 3: That the Building Official is hereby authorized to have <br /> the above-described building demolished. <br /> Section 4: That all expenses incurred as a result of the demolition <br /> of the building shall be made a personal obligation of the property owner or <br /> assess said charge against the property, in which case the City of Everett <br /> shall ask the County Treasurer to enter the amount of the assessment upon <br /> the tax rolls against the property and collect the same with regular <br /> property taxes and with interest at such rate as provided for in <br /> RCW 84.56.020. <br /> Section 5: The demolition shall not be commenced until not less than <br /> ten (10) days after the notification by personal service or by mailing via <br /> certified mail - return receipt requested - of notice of the herein <br /> described Everett City Council Resolution to the owners of the herein <br /> described property. <br /> 74{...,...‘7,-,-, <:7 <br /> Councilman Introducing olution <br /> PASSED and APPROVED this ,.R ` day of , 1988. <br /> (::2 <br /> Council elide t <br /> 5831F <br /> -2- <br />
