1v <br /> CITY OF EVERETT <br /> EVERETT TRANSIT <br /> DISADVANTAGED BUSINESS ENTERPRISE PROGRAM <br /> POLICY STATEMENT: <br /> It is the policy of City of Everett/Transit Division to ensure that <br /> socially and economically disadvantaged persons have the opportunity <br /> for full participation in all contracting and procurement activities . <br /> In order to provide the maximum opportunity for such individuals to <br /> participate in City of Everett/Transit Division projects, Everett <br /> Transit has reinstituted a Disadvantaged Business Enterprise Program. <br /> including women owned business enterprises. <br /> The City of Everett/Transit Division DBE Program is based upon <br /> Department of Transportation Title 49, Code of Federal Regulations, <br /> Part 23 as amended to implement Section 106 (c) of the Surface <br /> Transportation and Uniform Relocation Assistance Act of 1987, and <br /> directives of the Urban Mass Transportation Administration (UMTA) <br /> Office of Civil Rights.
