The following is a corresponding <br /> itemized response and clarification to the plan review comments. Please reference the attached <br /> supplemental drawings. <br /> General: <br /> 1. Reference the attached supplemental drawing sheets Al thru A3 depicting the existing upper <br /> floor(Unit A)and main floor(Unit B)floor plans. All existing conditions are shown as well <br /> as walls to be removed and new walls in the main floor Unit B floor plan to conform to the <br /> duplex occupancy requirements. The new Al thru A3 sheets should be reviewed in <br /> conjunction with the original drawing sheets 1 thru 4 previously submitted and regarded as <br /> one complete drawing set. <br /> 2. Reference original drawing sheets 1 thru 4 and supplemental drawing sheets A I thru A3. <br /> 3. Reference plan notes on sheet A1. <br /> 4. Reference plan notes on sheet A 1 and A2. <br /> 5. The structure is being configured such that Unit A occupies the entire upper floor area and <br /> Unit B occupies the entire main floor area. Reference attached drawing sheets AI thru A3. <br /> 6. Reference previously submitted drawing sheet I with site plan,property info and vicinity <br /> map. Also reference the attached copy of the City of Everett Public Works `Non-Conforming <br /> Building Certification' letter. <br /> Structural: <br /> 1. The original drawing sheets 1 thru 4 and structural calculations previously submitted <br /> addressed the structural concerns regarding the roof replacement portion of this project. The <br /> new pre-manufactured wood roof trusses will span from north exterior wall to south exterior <br /> wall. The original 2x4 roof rafter framing to be removed currently spans from the same north <br /> exterior wall to south exterior wall. Therefore,there is no change in load path or magnitude <br /> to the supporting framing including window and door headers from the current existing <br /> conditions. In addition,the proposed modifications to the main floor Unit B floor plan do not <br /> affect any load bearing wall elements. <br /> 2. Reference Structural response item#I above. <br /> Construction: <br /> 1. Reference the attached supplemental drawing sheets Al thru A3. Egress window sizes& <br /> locations are noted, handrail and guardrails are noted and smoke/CO detector requirements <br /> are specified.
