Other than providing pass-through from the existing main floor Unit B to the <br /> eliminated Unit C portion of the main floor(to be incorporated into Unit B),there is no <br /> anticipated removal or replacement of any interior or exterior wall or ceiling drywall or <br /> exterior sheathing. The upper floor ceiling will remain in-place as the new roof trusses are <br /> placed in-between. New R-49 batt insulation in the attic has been specified. New hard-wired <br /> smoke and CO detectors have been specified to be installed during roof replacement for the <br /> upper Unit A. New battery operated smoke and CO detectors have been specified to be <br /> installed for the main floor Unit B since no access is available for wiring—at least upgrading <br /> the existing older detectors with new ones.
