Please review and respond to the comments
below.
In order for the processing of your application to continue, it will be necessary to provide the
Building Division with two complete new printed sets of construction documents reflecting the
corrections requested.
Please include a response letter which indicates how the corrections were resolved.
General
1. Plans should clearly identify and describe the work to be covered the permit application,
per IRC section R105.3. For example, the roof and ceiling replacement should be
identified on the architectural drawings. The third unit should be shown as removed
from the structure on the plans. Walls and doors being removed should be shown with
dashed lines. New walls and construction should be shown with dark lines, and existing
walls and construction should be shown as light lines.
2. Permits were not submitted at the time of the conversion of retail to residential, so the
details for that conversion should be submitted on the permit plans.
3. Please identify the applicable codes on the cover sheet.
4. Please identify the square foot floor area under the scope of the permit.
5. Please identify the total number of residential units, and identify the units on the plans
for reference.
6. Please include a site plan indicating the location of the building, with dimensioned
clearances to the property lines on the site.
Structural
1. Please include a letter from the Structural Engineer that the plans have been reviewed
for compliance with the previously submitted structural design to replace the roof.
1 Z
