June 28, 2017 <br /> spoke about her attendance at the National Association for the <br /> Advancement of Colored People Juneteenth celebration on Saturday. She <br /> also participated in the Association of Washington Cities (AWC) call on <br /> federal advocacy. <br /> Council Member Roberts provided a liaison report on his attendance at the <br /> Association of Washington Cities conference in Vancouver last week. HE <br /> also spoke about his meeting with Peter Rogoff, CEO of Sound Transit. <br /> Council Member Moore honored Steve Saunders for his impact on the <br /> community. He also encouraged citizens to be engaged in the community. <br /> Council Member Murphy recognized the Saunders family for their <br /> generosity and community involvement. He wished everyone a happy 4th of <br /> July. <br /> President Tuohy reported on her attendance at the Casino Road <br /> Stakeholders meeting. <br /> ADMINISTRATION UPDATE ON PRIOR BUSINESS <br /> Debra Bryant, Administration, had no report. <br /> CITY ATTORNEY <br /> City Attorney Iles had no comments. <br /> CITIZEN COMMENTS <br /> John Van Dalen, Everett, thanked the Mayor for declaring this week as <br /> Amateur Radio Week.
