July 5, 2017 <br /> The regular meeting of the Everett City Council was called to order at <br /> 6:30 p.m., July 5, 2017, in the City Council Chambers of the <br /> William E. Moore Historic City Hall, Council President Tuohy presiding. <br /> Upon roll call, it was found that Mayor Stephanson and Council Members <br /> Roberts, Murphy, Franklin, Bader, Stonecipher, and Tuohy were present. <br /> Council Member Moore was excused. <br /> Council Member Stonecipher led the Pledge of Allegiance. <br /> The minutes of the June 28, 2017, City Council meeting were approved as <br /> printed. Council Member Stonecipher abstained from the vote. <br /> MAYOR <br /> Mayor Stephanson had no comments. <br /> COUNCIL <br /> Council Member Stonecipher thanked City staff for an outstanding job in <br /> coordinating the 4th of July celebration events and fireworks show this year. <br /> Council Member Bader thanked the Police and Fire Departments for their <br /> extra efforts relating to the 4th of July fireworks show. <br /> Council Member Franklin reported on her attendance at the Community <br /> Streets Initiative meeting today. <br /> Council Member Roberts commented on the 4th of July activities and <br /> thanked City staff for their work. He also spoke about the Legislative wrap <br /> up, and asked Administration to provide an update when budget details are <br /> complete. <br /> Council Member Murphy expressed thanks and kudos to all City staff for <br /> their work on the 4th of July activities. <br /> 220 <br />
