Every effort is made to find the closest qualified interpreter. • Additional travel fees such as parking,toll or ferry fees may be included. • Any appointment requiring a court interpreter will be billed at a 2-hour minimum or the amount of time requested,whichever is greater. • You will be notified of any exceptions in writing. • To combat fatigue and improve accuracy,2 interpreters may be scheduled. Cancellation policy for court interpreting: • Non-trial appointments: ■ Require at least two business days notice of cancellation. ■ If less than two business days notice of cancellation is received billing will be for a 2- hour minimum or the amount of time requested and travel time reserved,whichever is greater. • Trial appointments: ■ All trials,either jury or non-jury require two business days notice of cancellation for each day scheduled. • Weekends are not induded in two business days notice. • If less than two business days notice of cancellation,billing will be for seven hours for each day cancelled with less than two business days notice and travel time reserved.
