October 7, 2015 <br />ADMINISTRATION UPDATE ON PRIOR BUSINESS <br />Debra Bryant stated that Council Member Tuohy inquired last week about <br />procedures for the release of inmates from Snohomish County jail. Ms. <br />Bryant asked Everett Police Chief Templeman to provide an update. <br />Police Chief Templeman spoke concerning the procedures for inmates <br />who are transported to the jail, but denied entry, as well as what happens <br />to inmates upon release from the jail. <br />CITIZEN COMMENTS <br />Willie Russell, Everett, commented about activity on 36th Street. He also <br />commented on Snohomish County jail transport procedures and <br />homelessness in Everett. <br />Jackie Minchew, Everett, commented about citizen participation at Council <br />subcommittee meetings. He also invited everyone to attend the a climate <br />change rally on Wednesday, October 14, 2015, 5:00-7:00 p.m., to be held <br />at 3000 Rockefeller Avenue near the Snohomish County Courthouse. <br />Gail Chism, Everett, spoke about the lack of public input regarding the <br />demolition of the old creamery building on Pacific Avenue. She also <br />commented on the Everett Fire Department and emergency transport <br />services. <br />Pete McFall, Everett, commented on public safety and the Everett Fire <br />Department study. <br />Antoinette McCormack, Lynnwood, spoke regarding regulations affecting <br />the placement of her hot dog stand on city sidewalks. <br />Paul Sparks, Maston, commented on homelessness in Everett and the <br />Foundation For Living program currently operating in Tacoma. <br />David Kiggins, Everett, spoke about the treatment of homeless people in <br />the city of Everett. <br />M <br />
