Bid Item No. A69, the quantity is revised from "295"to"225". <br /> CLARIFICATIONS <br /> Question 1 <br /> There does not appear to be an elevation provided for the Control Room roof top of concrete. <br /> Please provide this elevation. <br /> Answer—The elevation at the top of the concrete roof for the Control Room is 27.00 ft. <br /> Question 2 <br /> Formwork System — Sheet No. 59/Drawing A6.0: detail 2 —depicts formwork snap-tie holes. Is <br /> this meant to be a descriptive forming system to be used or the method in plugging holes? <br /> Answer—This is meant to be a descriptive forming system. The intent of this detail is to show <br /> how the form tie holes should line up and be evenly spaced in order to create a uniform <br /> appearance on the exterior of the concrete tower. The holes are to be plugged flush. <br /> Question 3 <br /> What concrete is subject to bid item Class 4000 for Utility Bridge (Schedule A) and what <br /> concrete is subject to Class 4000 for Pedestrian Upgrades (Schedule B)? <br /> Answer—The bid items have been divided into Schedule A and Schedule B for payment and <br /> funding reasons, and should not affect total quantity nor cost for each concrete class.
