At end of this Section is a <br /> 7 general guide to the painting requirements. <br /> 8 <br /> 9 Painting and finishing of all exposed-to-view interior and exterior surfaces, except as <br /> 10 otherwise indicated or specified. <br /> 11 <br /> 12 Paint all surfaces unless otherwise indicated, scheduled, factory finished or indicated to <br /> 13 receive a finish in other Sections of the specifications. <br /> 14 <br /> 15 Field painting of factory finished equipment is not required. <br /> 16 <br /> 17 Touch-up paint all blemished or otherwise disfigured paint on all surfaces which occur <br /> 18 prior to acceptance of the building by the Owner. <br /> 19 <br /> 20 Unless specifically mentioned in technical sections to receive factory finish, paint all <br /> 21 these items occurring within the plane, the same as adjacent similar materials or areas. <br /> 22 If finish is not designated, the Architect will select these from the materials systems <br /> 23 specified. <br /> 24 <br /> 25 6-07.6(3)A General <br /> 26 Before proceeding with any work, the Contractor shall inspect the site, carefully <br /> 27 check all surfaces to be painted, and verify conditions affecting the work. The <br /> 28 Contractor shall immediately notify the Engineer of any discrepancy requiring <br /> 29 remediation. <br /> 30 <br /> 31 The Contractor shall apply paint per manufacturer's specifications and <br /> 32 recommendations. <br /> 33 <br /> 34 The Contractor is responsible for site cleanup after installation. The Contractor shall <br /> 35 apply paint at the locations indicated on the drawings. Protect the paint while wet <br /> 36 from water or other construction damage. Repair any damage to painted surfaces. <br /> 37 <br /> 38 The Contractor shall install, and gain approval for, a mock-up of the field applied <br /> 39 paint for Architect's review and approval of exterior visual features and <br /> 40 workmanship prior to field application of the remainder of the work. <br /> 41 <br /> 42 <br /> 43 <br /> 44 <br /> 45 <br /> 46 General: Provide applied paint mock-ups as indicated and meeting the following: <br /> 47 <br /> 48 Use materials, fabrication and installation methods identical with those <br /> 49 indicated for Work.
