 OMEGA 2707 Wetmore Avenue
Everett, WA 98201
ENGINEERING, INC. t 425_3s_3s2o
f 425_259_1958
July 20th, 2015
Sabrina Fandler
Engineering/Public Services Department
Public Works
City of Everett
RE: First Plan Review Comments
Permit Application #: PW1506-024
Dear Sabrina,
This letter is intended to summarize the changes made to the engineering package reviewed during the
initial permit review for this project. This letter addresses comments from you and other City employees
which were provided in a letter dated July 1, 2015.
1. The existing driveway cut is located in the sidewalk and is now shown correctly on the plans.
2. Per our phone conversation and the information you provided, all available survey/as-built
information for the existing catch basin adjacent to the curb cut is shown on the plans. See sheet
2 of the drainage plans.
3. A catch basin is proposed to connect the proposed stormwater facilities to the 8" drainage stub at
the northeast corner of the property. Rim and invert elevations have been called out. See sheet
2 of the drainage plans.
4. Catch basin types have been called out on the plans. A note has been added to the plans, as
well as a discussion in the report for each proposed catch basin to provide a minimum of 2 foot
deep sump for pretreatment of pavement runoff. See sheet 2 of the drainage plans and section 8
of the drainage report. The depth below the perforated pipe for the proposed infiltration trenches
has been adjusted to 2 feet. See the infiltration details on sheet 2 of the drainage plans.
5. Runoff from the PGIS will be pretreated with a 2 foot deep sump at the bottom of each catch
basin before entered the infiltration trenches.
i 6. The infiltration trenches have been separated and designed to each serve less than 5,000 sf of
,,( impervious surfaces. This will allow only 1 feet of required separation from the bottom of the
1' washed reck of the infiltration trench to the seasonal ground water elevation. See sheet 2 of the
  `e drainage plans.
,7. Downspout connections have been called out on the plans with a note added that all downspouts
J` , will discharge to the infiltration trenches. See sheet 2 of the drainage plans.
'e 8. All comments made on plans have been revised as necessary.

` 9.
