12. Any broken or damaged sidewalk shall be repaired/replaced per the City Public Works Inspector.
13. Walkways must be provided from the building entrance to the public sidewalk.
14. All exposed ground must be reseeded within 30 days of the completion of construction. If reseeding
is not practical due to weather or seasonal problems, the ground must be covered with mulch as
directed by the City Engineer.
15. Temporary erosion control measures for construction activity must be operational prior to
commencement of any clearing or earthwork.
16. Lack of comment on the attached drainage report does not indicate approval of the report. The City
of Everett reviews drainage reports as a part of the construction plan approvals, after the SEPA
decision has been issued and the comment period has expired.
17. City standards require treatment of storm water ruloff from hydraulically-connected pavement prior
to discharge of the storm water from the site.
1 S. Storm water treatment is required when 5,000 square feet or more of hydraulically-connected
pavement is created and/or redeveloped by a project. Treatment of storm water runoff from
hydraulically-connected pavement must occur, per City standards, prior to discharge of the storm
water from the site, or to a stream, wetland, or underground infiltration system.
If suitable soils exist on the site, surface storm water infiltration systems (e.g., pervious pavers or
surface ponding areas and/or swales) may be used to avoid creating hydraulically-connected
pavement from a storm water treatment standard.
➢ From a storm water treatment standpoint, for a paved area to be considered hydraulically-
disconnected, storm water runoff from at least the 6-month, 24-hour storm must be fully retained
and/or inf ltrated.
19. The options for treatment of runoff from hydraulically-connected pavement are:
a. 1n infiltration basin with pretreatment*, if suitable soils exist on the site
b. A wet pond
c. A constructed wetland
d. A storm water technology that has received a GUL,D (General Use Level Designation) from
Washington State Department of Ecology for either basic ar enhanced treatment, with pretreatment*
* acceptable pretreatment systems are either a wet vault or tank designed in accordance with City
standards and containing 30% of the 6-month, 24-hour storm as dead storage, or a pretreatment
system that has obtained a GULD for pretreatment from the Washington State Department of
cology
20. Storin vater detention is reqiired when 5,000 square feet or more of hydraulically-connected
impervious area is created by a project.
 4
/ /
