•t <br /> CITY OF EVERETT, WASHINGTON <br /> RESOLUTION NO. , ‘-',.5-3/7 - <br /> A RESOLUTION of the City Council of the City of Everett, Washington, <br /> declaring its intention to order the improvement of Everett Mall Way <br /> from the south city limits line northeasterly to 3rd Ave. SE with <br /> complete standard street system improvements (including widening the <br /> street by 2 lanes, one on each side, curbs, gutters and sidewalks) and <br /> intersection improvements, including complete standard street system <br /> improvements to the limit of the ownership line of the corner property at <br /> the intersection of 1st Place West, also known as Howard Ave., on the <br /> south side of Everett Mall Way, Meridian Ave., also known as Warren <br /> Ave., 1st Drive SE, also known as Ward Ave., Intercity Ave., and <br /> including a storm water system and one half the cost of traffic signal <br /> system improvements at Evergreen Way with 9th Ave W., also known as <br /> Olivia Park Road, including the total cost of conduit for a future traffic <br /> signal system at 3rd Ave. S.E., and 8 inch sanitary sewers on the south <br /> side of the street from Evergreen Way to 1st Drive SE, also known as <br /> Ward Ave., including 8 inch sanitary sewers on the unopened right-of-way <br /> known as 5th PL W, from Everett Mall Way, south 200 feet, and on the <br /> north side from 4th Ave. W., also known as Emander, to Intercity Ave., <br /> and transit shelters; property acquisition; and necessary appurtenances as <br /> determined by the City Engineer in connection therewith and to create a <br /> local improvement district to assess the cost and expense of carrying out <br /> such improvement against the properties specially benefitted thereby, <br /> and notifying all persons who desire to object to the improvements to <br /> appear and present their objections at a meeting of the City Council to <br /> be held on April 10, 1985, at 8:30 a.m. <br /> WHEREAS, a typographical error in the preliminary special benefit report of <br /> an LID proposed by Resolution No. 2527 impacted the amount of the preliminary <br /> estimated assessments to each property owner affected by said Resolution; and <br /> WHEREAS, it is determined that a new Resolution of Intention to form an <br /> LID should be adopted; <br /> NOW THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY <br /> OF EVERETT, WASHINGTON, as follows: <br /> Section 1: RCW 35.43.040 provides that the legislative authority of a City <br /> may order a local improvement district. <br /> Section 2: It is the intention of the City Council of the City of Everett, <br /> Washington, based on RCW 35.43.040, to order the improvement of the following <br /> property: <br /> See Exhibit "A" which is attached hereto and incorporated by <br /> reference herein. <br /> by the construction and installation of: <br />
