1 Lot 13, Block 3, North Beverly Park Division No. 2, EXCEPT the <br /> Southeasterly 96 feet thereof, as per plat recorded in Volume 10 of Plats <br /> 2 on page 46, records of Snohomish County, State of Washington. <br /> 3 <br /> Section 2: That the above-described building is hereby declared to be a <br /> 4 <br /> substandard building as is defined in the Uniform Housing Code and a dangerous building <br /> 5 <br /> as is defined in the Uniform Code for the Abatement of Dangerous Buildings. <br /> 6 <br /> Section 3: That the Building Official is hereby authorized to have the <br /> 7 <br /> above-described building demolished. <br /> 8 <br /> Section 4: That the occupant of the above-described building has not vacated <br /> 9 <br /> the building in accordance with the Order and Notice to Vacate, issued by the Building <br /> 10 <br /> Official. The City Council hereby authorizes the City Attorney's Office to institute <br /> 11 <br /> necessary legal proceedings to vacate the building. In addition, the City Council hereby <br /> 12 <br /> declares such occupancy of the building to be a public nuisance and hereby authorizes <br /> 13 <br /> the City Attorney's Office to institute an action in the Snohomish County Superior <br /> 14 <br /> Court to have said nuisance abated by requiring vacation of the building. <br /> 15 <br /> Section 5: The demolition shall not be commenced until not less than ten (10) <br /> 16 <br /> days after the vacation of the building and notification by personal service or by <br /> 17 <br /> mailing via registered or certified mail of notice of the herein described Everett City <br /> 18 <br /> Council Resolution to the owners of the herein described property. <br /> 19 <br /> 20 <br /> 21 \I ,., <br /> Councilman In roducing Resolution <br /> 22 <br /> 23 PASSED and APPROVED this 14th day of November , 1984. <br /> 24 <br /> 25 / <br /> 0 ' 'r- :en <br /> 26 <br /> 27 <br /> 28 <br /> 29 <br /> 30 <br /> 31 <br /> 32 <br /> -2- <br />
