E Mukilteo Bivd <br /> Ev+�rett, WA 98203 <br /> Planning Coordinator: John Jimerson <br /> Project Description: Install accessibility improvements to park, remove concrete debris from <br /> Silver Lake and replace with beach sand, and install picnic facilities. <br /> Shoreline Master Program Regulations: <br /> The following regulations from the Everett Shoreline Master Program {SMP) have been <br /> found to be the most applicable to the proposal. The project shall comply with all <br /> applicable regulations in the SMP. <br /> Environmental De�siqnatian <br /> The project site i� designated Urban Multi-Use in the Shoreline Master Program. This <br /> designation is intE�nded to provide for water oriented public and commercial activities, <br /> recreational and residential uses, and public access. Parks are a permitted use in fhis <br /> designation. <br /> Section 3— General <br /> 4. All shoreline cevelopments shall be located, constructed and operated so as not to <br /> be a hazard to public health and safety. <br /> 3.5 Cultural Resources <br /> 1. All shoreline ��ermits shall contain provisions which require developers to <br /> immediately stop work and notify the City and the Tulalip Tribes if anything of <br /> possible arch��eological interest is uncovered during excavations or development <br /> and consult a professional archaeologist to inspect and evaluate the site. Failure to <br /> comply with triis requirement shall be considered a violation of the Shoreline Permit. <br /> Findings: Inc��rporated into Condition No. 9. <br /> 3.7 Public Acces� <br /> 1. Public access shall be required to the extent allowed by law in the review of all <br /> shoreline sub��tantial development and conditional use permits (including land <br /> division). <br /> 6. Where a projE:ct is located within an area covered by an adopted public access plan, <br /> public access improvements shall be generally consistent with the adopted plan. <br /> ��'�,� �r <br />
