Track V. Diversification <br /> A. Medical Development <br /> The existence of two excellent medical facilities in Everett cannot be <br /> overlooked as opportunities to provide jobs, diversify our economic base and <br /> enhance the existing service base. The City will work with members of the <br /> medical community to enhance their position in the marketplace and explore <br /> new opportunities. <br /> B. Trade: <br /> With the Port of Everett and the Snohomish County EDC, the City will <br /> pursue, trade opportunities more aggressively with greater participation and <br /> involvement in trade shows, trade missions and marketing. <br /> C. Paine Field: <br /> The realization of the fullest potential of Paine Field should be pursued. <br /> Public and private interests should work together to identify and attain the <br /> best use of the airport facility and surrounding industrial properties. <br />
