Specific elements include: <br /> 1. Public safety and street people control program. <br /> 2. Relocation and upgrade of downtown public transit <br /> center. <br /> 3. Downtown traffic circulation and on-street parking <br /> improvements. <br /> 4. Water, sewer, and drainage utility system rehabilitation <br /> and expansion. <br /> 5. Monte Cristo Hotel rehabilitation assistance. <br /> December 1981 - Draft Paine Field Airport Area Comprehensive Plan finished <br /> by Snohomish County Office of Community Planning. <br /> January 1982 - Construction started on Everett's $30 million dollar Water <br /> Filtration Plant and related facilities improvements. The <br /> project will effect separation of the industrial water supply <br /> system thus allowing the provision of untreated water to <br /> industries. <br /> February 1982 - Economic Development Memorandum of Understanding <br /> adopted (Defines roles of each agency and organization <br /> involved in economic development in Everett). <br />
