August 9, 2017 <br /> The regular meeting of the Everett City Council was called to order at <br /> 6:30 p.m., August 9, 2017, in the City Council Chambers of the William E. <br /> Moore Historic City Hall, Council President Tuohy presiding. Upon roll call, <br /> it was found that Council Members Roberts, Moore, Franklin, Bader, <br /> Stonecipher and Tuohy were present. Mayor Stephanson and Council <br /> Member Murphy were excused. <br /> Council Member Bader led the Pledge of Allegiance. <br /> The minutes of the July 31, 2017, City Council meeting were approved as <br /> printed. <br /> OATH — POLICE OFFICER <br /> Moved by Council Member Franklin, seconded by Council Member <br /> Roberts, to concur with the appointment of Brandon Zigray as a new <br /> police officer. <br /> Roll was called with all council members voting yes, except Council Member <br /> Murphy who was excused. <br /> Motion carried. <br /> The Deputy City Clerk administered the oath of office, and Council <br /> President Tuohy presented the officer with his badge. <br /> MAYOR <br /> Mayor Stephanson was excused. <br /> COUNCIL <br /> Council Member Franklin announced that the next Public Safety <br /> Subcommittee meeting is scheduled for August 30 at 5:15 p.m. <br /> 258 <br />
