r <br /> SECTION 02618- PAVEMENT MARKING <br /> ' PART 1 —GENERAL <br /> 1.01 DESCRIPTION <br /> A. The work of this Section consists of stripe painting all parking area stalls,disabled markings, <br /> crosswalks and non parking areas. All stripes shall be solid line. <br /> ' 1.02 JOB CONDITIONS <br /> A. Do not apply paint when surface is moist, air temperature is below 50 degrees F., or <br /> unfavorable weather conditions exist. <br /> r B. Protect the painted stripe by use of flagmen and warning and directional signs until paint has <br /> dried sufficiently to prevent being picked up by vehicular traffic. <br /> PART 2— MATERIALS <br /> 2.01 PAINT <br /> rA. White highway traffic paint, FS TT-P-115. <br /> 2.02 REFLECTORIZED GRANULES <br /> rA. FS TT-13-1325, when indicated on drawings. <br /> PART 3— EXECUTION <br /> 3.01 PREPARATION <br /> rA. Clean area with broom or airblast equipment. Remove mud, dirt, or other foreign surface <br /> material. <br /> ' 3.02 APPLICATION <br /> A. Prior to placing paint, mark line locations by spots of paint at intervals insuring accurate <br /> location of line. Mix paint to uniform consistency. Apply with a machine capable of spraying <br /> under pressure through a nozzle directly upon the pavement. Finished stripes shall be 4 <br /> inches wide; have clear true edges with no sharp breaks; have uniform covering free from <br /> ' light spots and skips; have a minimum wet film thickness of 15 mils; and not deviate from the <br /> true line more than I inch in 50 feet. <br /> i <br /> i <br /> END OF SECTION <br /> r <br /> SPORTSMAN'S WAREHOUSE 02618- 1 <br />
