October 14, 2015 <br /> The regular meeting of the Everett City Council was called to order at <br /> 6:30 p.m., October 14, 2015, in the City Council Chambers of the William <br /> E. Moore Historic City Hall, President Bader presiding. Upon roll call it <br /> was found that Mayor Stephanson and Council Members Roberts, Moore, <br /> Murphy, Gipson, Bader, Stonecipher, and Tuohy were present. <br /> Council Member Stonecipher led the Pledge of Allegiance. <br /> The minutes of the October 7, 2015, City Council meeting were approved <br /> as printed. Council Member Moore abstained from the vote. <br /> MAYOR <br /> Mayor Stephanson proclaimed the month of October 2015 as "Domestic <br /> Violence Awareness Month in Everett" and presented the proclamation to <br /> Luanne Kunz, YWCA. <br /> Ms. Kunz, thanked the Mayor and the City Council. <br /> Mayor Stephanson reported on his attendance at the Everett Community <br /> Streets Initiative Task Force Encampment Summit held at the Everett <br /> Station. He also announced that Mr. Pendleton, director of the state of <br /> Utah's Homeless Task Force will be in Everett on November 16, 2015. Mr. <br /> Pendleton will share his expertise in assisting people off the streets and <br /> issues with homelessness. He also announced the hiring of Julie <br /> Frauenholtz as the new streets initiative coordinator, which is funded by <br /> the United Way of Snohomish County. <br /> COUNCIL <br /> Council Member Murphy announced that the next Budget and Finance <br /> Subcommittee meeting is scheduled for October 21, 2015, at 5:15 p.m., in <br /> the City Council Chambers. Council Member Murphy provided a liaison <br /> report on his attendance yesterday at the Snohomish Health District <br /> Board meeting. He noted that a proposal came forward from a <br /> Snohomish County council member to dissolve the Snohomish Health <br /> 315 <br />
