October 14, 2015 District and merge the community health functions back to Snohomish County. Council Member Stonecipher expressed her concerns regarding an elimination of many programs previously provided by the Snohomish Health District. Council Member Moore expressed his interest in participation in a conversation regarding a possible merge of the Snohomish Health District community health functions back to the Snohomish County. Council Member Roberts reported on his attendance at the Transportation Futurist Summit, Mercer Island, WA, last week and at the Everett Community Streets Initiative Task Force Encampment Summit. Council Member Roberts also shared 2016 legislative priorities. He announced that the Association of Washington Cities summit will be held on December 1, 2015, and will include homelessness and affordable housing topics. Council Member Roberts thanked the Planning Department for their great work on the Comprehensive Plan Update. He also reported on his attendance at the Puget Sound Regional Council meeting. Council Member Roberts announced that General Government Subcommittee meeting will be scheduled soon. Council Member Tuohy thanked the Mayor for the proclamation and reported on her attendance at the Domestic Violence luncheon this week. She also attended the Monte Cristo Award Ceremony last week. Council Member Tuohy announced that the next Public Safety Subcommittee meeting will be scheduled in November. Council Member Stonecipher provided a liaison report on her attendance at the Board of Park Commissioners meeting. She also announced that the discussion about golf course fees will be postponed due to current market competition. Council President Bader announced that the low-barrier housing topic was assigned to the General Government Subcommittee. 316
