October 14, 2015 <br /> District and merge the community health functions back to Snohomish <br /> County. <br /> Council Member Stonecipher expressed her concerns regarding an <br /> elimination of many programs previously provided by the Snohomish <br /> Health District. <br /> Council Member Moore expressed his interest in participation in a <br /> conversation regarding a possible merge of the Snohomish Health District <br /> community health functions back to the Snohomish County. <br /> Council Member Roberts reported on his attendance at the Transportation <br /> Futurist Summit, Mercer Island, WA, last week and at the Everett <br /> Community Streets Initiative Task Force Encampment Summit. Council <br /> Member Roberts also shared 2016 legislative priorities. He announced <br /> that the Association of Washington Cities summit will be held on <br /> December 1, 2015, and will include homelessness and affordable housing <br /> topics. Council Member Roberts thanked the Planning Department for <br /> their great work on the Comprehensive Plan Update. He also reported on <br /> his attendance at the Puget Sound Regional Council meeting. Council <br /> Member Roberts announced that General Government Subcommittee <br /> meeting will be scheduled soon. <br /> Council Member Tuohy thanked the Mayor for the proclamation and <br /> reported on her attendance at the Domestic Violence luncheon this week. <br /> She also attended the Monte Cristo Award Ceremony last week. Council <br /> Member Tuohy announced that the next Public Safety Subcommittee <br /> meeting will be scheduled in November. <br /> Council Member Stonecipher provided a liaison report on her attendance <br /> at the Board of Park Commissioners meeting. She also announced that <br /> the discussion about golf course fees will be postponed due to current <br /> market competition. <br /> Council President Bader announced that the low-barrier housing topic was <br /> assigned to the General Government Subcommittee. <br /> 316 <br />
