CITY OF EVERETT SPECIAL PROVISIONS 1 Mid Lawn Establishment (after two mowings) 85 percent of individual areas I Completion of Lawn Establishment 100 percent of individual areas (after four mowings) I Bid Item 30 - Cement Concrete Curb and Gutter Type A-1 Measurement and Payment: Unit Price per Linear Foot Measurement shall be per linear foot as delineated by the Contractor and approved by the Inspector prior to removal. The unit bid price per linear foot of Concrete Curb and Gutter, Type A-1 shall be full compensation for all labor, equipment, materials, and incidentals, including forms, necessary to perform the work and shall include the replacement of concrete curbs or curb and gutter impacted by the construction activities and curb ramp installation in accordance with the COE Standard Drawings and these Special Provisions. The cost of sawcutting, removing and disposing of concrete curb and gutter, subgrade preparation and furnishing, placement, and compaction of crushed rock is incidental and shall be included in the unit price for this bid item. Installation of curb depressions for 111 driveway cuts and wheelchair ramps shall be incidental to these items and no separate payment will be made. Bid Item 31 - Cement Concrete Sidewalk Measurement and Payment: Unit Price per Square Yard Measurement shall be per square yard as delineated by the Contractor and approved by the Inspector prior to removal. The unit price per square yard of Cement Concrete Sidewalk shall be full compensation for replacement or installation of concrete sidewalk, driveway, or alley approach impacted by construction activities and/or shown on the Contract Plans in accordance with the COE Standard Drawings and these Special Provisions. The cost of sawcutting, removing, and disposing of sidewalk and driveways is included in Roadway Excavation Incl. Haul. Deductions will be made for blocked out areas, castings, or other discontinuities in the sidewalk 9 square feet or larger. The unit contract price for this Bid Item shall include all costs for the work required to construct the sidewalk as specified.
