I <br /> CITY OF EVERETT, WASHINGTON <br /> SPECIFICATIONS FOR <br /> SEWER REGULATOR R4 AND R39 MODIFICATIONS <br /> WO No. - UP3633 <br /> NOTICE TO CONTRACTORS <br /> ADVERTISEMENT FOR BIDS <br /> Notice is hereby given that sealed bids for the Sewer Regulators R4 and R39 Modifications will be <br /> received at the office of the City Clerk, 1St Floor Wall Street Building, 2930 Wetmore, Everett, Washington <br /> 98201, until 2:00 p.m. on Tuesday, June 27, 2017. At the appointed time, all bids will be opened and <br /> publicly read aloud in the 8th floor hearing room at the Wall Street Building. The engineer's opinion of <br /> probable construction cost for this Project is $ 1,165,000. <br /> Work being performed includes furnishing all labor, materials and equipment necessary to construct <br /> approximately 200 linear feet of 6-inch water main, approximately 90 linear feet of combined sewer main <br /> up to 48-inch diameter, modifications to an existing combined sewer regulator R39, construction of a new <br /> combined sewer regulator R4 and other such appurtenances and performing all Work as required by the <br /> Contract, in accordance with the Contract Plans and Contract Provisions. <br /> Plans, Specifications, Addenda, and plan holders list for this Project may be viewed on line at <br /> https://everettwa.gov/bids. <br /> Plan sets may also be purchased for reproduction costs at Bill's Blueprints (425) 259-0859 at 2920 <br /> Rockefeller Avenue, Everett, WA 98201. <br /> For technical questions regarding this Project contact: Dave Voigt P.E., Project Manager, City of Everett, <br /> at(425)257- 8983. <br /> All bids must be made upon the regular forms provided for this purpose and must be accompanied by a <br /> bid bond or certified check in an amount not less than five percent(5%)of the total amount of the Bid. <br /> The City reserves the right to reject any and all bids and to waive any irregularities or informalities. No <br /> Bidder may withdraw his Bid after the hour set for the opening thereof. The City further reserves the right <br /> to make the bid award as deemed in the best interest of the City.
