I CITY OF EVERETT SPECIAL PROVISIONS I shall be sequentially numbered for all periods in which Work has been done. A I certificate of completion for the Work, signed by the City, will constitute acceptance of the Work. The issuance of this certificate of completion will not constitute acceptance of unauthorized or defective Work or material is performed. I. 1-07.11 Requirements for Nondiscrimination Supplement 1-07.11 as follows: I The Contractor will be required to assure that equal employment opportunities will be in effect to all individuals throughout the length of this Contract, pursuant to 1-07.11 REQUIREMENTS FOR NONDISCRIMINATION. The Contractor must comply with all local, state and federal laws pertaining to non-discrimination and equal employment Iopportunity. The City of Everett hereby gives public notice that it is the City's policy to assure full compliance with Title VI of the Civil Rights Act of 1964, the Civil rights Restoration Act I of 1987, and related statutes and regulations in all programs and activities. Title VI requires that no person shall, on the grounds of race, color, sex, or national origin be excluded from participation in, be denied the benefits of, or be otherwise subjected to II discrimination under any Federal Aid Highway program or other activity for which the City receives Federal financial assistance. Any person who believes they have been aggrieved by an unlawful discriminatory I practice under Title VI has a right to file a formal complaint with the City of Everett. Any such complaint shall be in writing and filed with the City's Title VI Coordinator within 180 calendar days following the date of the alleged discriminatory occurrence. I c. The Contractor shall provide all information and reports required by federal regulations applicable to this Contract. The Contractor shall permit access to its books, records, accounts, other sources of information, and its facilities as may be I determined by the City to be pertinent to ascertain compliance with applicable federal regulations.
