The WFP Seismic <br /> Retrofit Rebid plans did not show or call for the roofing to be removed. Removal of the <br /> roofing was necessary for installation of the seismic strengthening above room 216. <br /> Payment is for the removal of the roofing. <br /> Work Change Directive—No. 006—FRP Installation in Control Room: WCD—No. <br /> 006 was agreed to in the lump sum amount of$11,971.00 and 7-Working Days. <br /> Justification: - Contract plans were not explicitly clear as to whether shear <br /> strengthening was required only between the joints of the precast floor panels or was <br /> required over the entire area of the floor panels. The subcontractor performing the work <br /> based their bid on only the joints. Per the Structural Engineer the intent of the design <br /> was for shear strengthening both the joints between the panels and the overall area of <br /> the panels.
