.e- <br /> "r+ <br /> 1 WHEREAS, the City Council finds that the contractor <br /> 2 billed the City of Everett $333 . 83 for the repairs; and <br /> 3 WHEREAS, the City Council finds that the fees for <br /> 4 the contractor' s services were paid from city funds; and <br /> 5 WHEREAS, the City Council finds that Chapter Nine of <br /> 6 the Uniform Code for the Abatement of Dangerous Buildings , as <br /> 7 adopted in Ordinance No. 725-80 empowers the City Council to <br /> 8 recover the costs incurred; <br /> 9 NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY OF EVERETT: <br /> 10 Section 1 : Costs for emergency repairs to the building <br /> 11 exist in the amount of $333 . 83 and the Building Official is <br /> 12 hereby authorized to make said charge a personal obligation of <br /> 13 the property owner, or place an assessment lien against the <br /> 14 property and cause the same to be recorded on the assessment <br /> 15 roll, and thereafter said assessment shall constitute a special <br /> 16 assessment against and a lien upon the property. <br /> 17 Section 2 : The address of the building is 2827 Norton <br /> 18 avenue, Everett, Washington.
