. i <br /> 6 <br /> FINDINGS AND RECOMMENDATIONS <br /> OF THE HEARING EXAMINER OF THE <br /> CITY OF EVERETT <br /> IN THE MATTER OF THE APPLICATION OF <br /> THE CITY OF EVERETT FOR APPROVAL OF <br /> A SPECIAL PROPERTY USE PERMIT - SPU #10-81 <br /> FIRE STATION #6 <br /> RECOMMENDATION: It is the recommendation of the Hearing Examiner that a <br /> Special Property Use Permit be granted subject to the <br /> conditions listed. <br /> INTRODUCTION <br /> The City of Everett, Everett, Washington, and hereinafter referred to as Applicant, <br /> has requested approval of a Special Property Use Permit for property located at <br /> 9514 Evergreen Way, Everett, Washington, and more particularly described as: <br /> Lots 1 through 6 and 14 through 15, Block 3, Replat of <br /> Intercity Garden Tracts Division No. 1 <br /> The specific request for the Special Property Use Permit is for the construction of <br /> a fire station which will have two equipment bays and also house a police reporting <br /> office. <br /> The above described land is zoned C-1, General Commercial. This zoning <br /> designation is established in the Everett Zoning Code. <br /> A hearing on the request was held before the Hearing Examiner of the City of <br /> Everett, Washington, on October 15, 1981.
