T <br /> 4 -S. <br /> WHEREAS, the funding is to be shared 90% by the Sewer-Drainage Fund and 10% <br /> by the Water Distribution Fund. <br /> NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of the City of Everett, <br /> Washington, that an emergency exists and that the City of Everett Operations and <br /> Maintenance Division including the Sewer-Drainage, Water, and Street Divisions , <br /> plus the Engineering Division of the Public Works Department, is authorized to <br /> perform necessary excavating, pipe installation, filling, compaction, and other <br /> work to protect Mukilteo Blvd. , B. N. Railroad main line and other private pro- <br /> perty from further damage at an expenditure of approximately $50,000, and <br /> BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED by the City Council of the City of Everett that a <br /> private boring contractor can be hired to perform necessary work concerning the <br /> boring and placing of the 30" diameter steel drainage line that the Operations <br /> and Maintenance Division of Public Works determines to be beyond our maintenance <br /> ability with existing equipment and manpower, estimated to cost $30,000 plus <br /> taxes , with supporting cost accounting of the emergency project. <br /> I IA/ 1 <br /> Councilperson Intr ucing Resolution <br /> AO 0 <br /> Cil 46141) <br /> PjOd <br /> D- <br /> & BLISHED <br />
