As yw
may or may not be aware, there were a lot of pieces that had to fall into place. We had
to obtain a building permit in a timely fashion, and meet a number of very specific
requirements to accomplish our Federal/State financing. This financing included obtaimng
several low interest rate loans from various government agencies All of this had to come
together no later than September 15.
The City of Everett, our staff, and many others put forlh 120% effort to accomplish what
appeared to be the impossible. Unfortunately, all of the pieces came into place with the
exception of the low income loan from DCTED. As a result we are going to have to stop
work on this project and re-group. Our intent at this dme is to re-apply for the tax credits
in 1995, but in the meandme the project is definitely on hold.
Again, thank you for your efforts and I'm sorry that wc are not able to proceed forward at
this time but look forward to working wilh you on our other projects.
Very wly yours,
 - (,, .,( ,:, -_>"' ,l
. v.
C.
