A RESOLUTION NO. /75/0 5/0 A RESOLUTION authorizing application for 1980 Community Development Block Grant funds to the Department of Housing and Urban Development under the Housing and Community Development Act of 1977 WHEREAS, the City Council of the City of Everett recognizes the need for certain housing and community development programs in Everett, and WHEREAS, funds have been made available through the Housing and Community Development Act of 1977 to provide for those programs and it is estimated that Everett is entitled to receive $944,000 in 1980, WHEREAS, the Citizens Advisory Committee for Housing and Community Development has studied the housing and community development needs and priorities of Everett and has made its recommendations for 1980 Block Grant funds, WHEREAS, the City Council of the City of Everett has reviewed the recommendations of the above Committee, and WHEREAS, the City Council of the City of Everett deems the Land Acquisition for Subsidized Housing Project a high priority and finds it necessary to provide additional funds to this project, NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF EVERETT THAT: I.
