1 c. The annual goals as shown in the 1979 Housing Action <br /> Program will include 122 units to be allocated as follows: <br /> 2 86 units of new construction <br /> 28 units of existing <br /> 3 8 units of substantial rehabilitation <br /> (Bonus Block Grant Funds) <br /> 4 <br /> d. Priorities for the above direct HUD assisted rental units <br /> 5 will be: <br /> 6 First priority shall be given to 50 units of <br /> new construction (congregate housing only) for <br /> 7 the elderly, <br /> 8 Second priority shall be given to 36 units of <br /> new construction for families (30 small and <br /> 9 6 large) , <br /> 10 Third priority shall be minimum of 28 units <br /> of existing housing (21 elderly, 7 small <br /> 11 family and 0 large family) , <br /> 12 Third priority (if additional funds are available <br /> or if priority numbers 1 and 2 cannot be met) <br /> 13 shall be given to 114 units of existing housing <br /> (71 elderly, 37 family and 6 large family) . <br /> 14 <br /> e. Three year goals for Federal Fiscal Years 1980 through 1982 <br /> 15 shall include 363 units of subsidized rental housing to be <br /> allocated as follows: <br /> 16 <br /> 50 units of new construction (congregate housing only) <br /> 17 for the elderly <br /> 55 units of new construction or substantial rehabilitation <br /> 18 (congregate housing only) for the elderly <br /> 98 units of new construction for families (78 small and <br /> 19 20 large) <br /> 8 units of Bonus Block Grant funded substantial rehabilitation <br /> 20 for families (5 small and 3 large) <br /> 152 units of existing housing (97 elderly, 49 small family <br /> 21 and 6 large family) <br /> 22 2. It is the intent of the City Council that at the end of the three- <br /> year period covered by the 1979 Housing Assistance Plan (as <br /> 23 amended October 10, 1979) , the proportion of subsidized housing <br /> provided by household type will be the same as housing need by . <br /> 24 household type. <br /> 25 3.
