The CEMP details authorities,functions and responsibilities to establish a mutually cooperative <br /> plan of action between City Departments,Divisions,and other public and private entities in response to a <br /> disaster. The CEMP supports National Incident Management System(NIMS) compliance requirements and <br /> utilizes the NIMS Incident Conunand System(ICS). The CEMP will be used to enhance the City's capability <br /> in reducing the impact from a disaster or significant event to citizens,the environment,the economy and <br /> property.
