August 23, 2017 <br /> the Funko Grand Opening celebration and drone racing event held at <br /> Xfinity Arena. <br /> Council Member Bader thanked those who were able to attend the <br /> NAACP rally. He also reported on his attendance at the Historical <br /> Commission meeting held last evening. <br /> Council Member Murphy reported that he also attended the Funko Grand <br /> Opening event and the NAACP rally over the weekend. He announced <br /> that the Budget Subcommittee is scheduled to meet on September 13, at <br /> 5:15 p.m. Council Member Murphy requested that Proposed Action Item <br /> Number 7 be tabled until September 13 to allow for additional discussion <br /> at the Budget Subcommittee meeting and follow up. <br /> President Tuohy approved the request to move the proposed action item <br /> to September 13 as requested. <br /> Council Member Roberts also reported on his attendance, along with five <br /> other council members, at the NAACP Rally Against Hate. He spoke about <br /> the North Corridor Upstream Team that has been meeting to look at the <br /> alignment of transit from Lynnwood to Everett, and he reported on his <br /> attendance at the Transportation Advisory Committee (TAC) meeting held <br /> last Thursday. Council Member Roberts also provided a brief update on <br /> recent discussions with Legal relating to districting. <br /> President Tuohy commented on the many activities held in Everett over <br /> the weekend. She stated she attended the Funko Grand Opening and the <br /> NAACP rally. She also reported on her attendance at the Library summer <br /> reading awards ceremony last evening. President Tuohy announced that <br /> the International Overdose Awareness Day Candlelight Vigil will be held <br /> on Thursday, August 31, 7-8:30 p.m., at Thornton A.
