8. Final Report: When pile installation is complete a report will be prepared summarizing the <br /> results of the pile installation. <br /> Client Responsibilities <br /> 1. Coordinate and conduct meetings: <br /> A. Pre-Construction planning meeting. <br /> B. Construction progress meetings. <br /> 2. Provide City construction and observation staff. <br /> 3. Coordinate and track all project communications. <br /> 4. Provide PDF electronic copies of all submittals, RFI's, change orders, and other construction <br /> documentation to the Engineer. Engineer will provide comments on a transmittal form when <br /> returned to the City. <br /> 5. Conduct site punch list walk. <br /> 6. Coordination and preparation of Record Drawings. <br /> • <br /> Assumptions <br /> 1. Meetings: • <br /> A. Pre-Construction Meeting: Attended by two (2) consultant staff. Meeting assumed to be <br /> 4 hours in length, including travel time. <br /> B. Construction Progress Meeting: <br /> i. Ten (10) meetings attended by one (1) consultant staff in person. Meeting assumed <br /> to be 4 hoursin length, including travel time and site visit. <br /> ii. Assumed bi-weekly progress meetings (26 meetings)will be 1 hour in length, <br /> attended by two (2) consultant staff via conference call, throughout the duration of <br /> construction. <br /> 2. The construction schedule, from Contractor selection to substantial completion, will be <br /> approximately 12 months. <br /> 3. Engineering support services do not include full-time observation of the construction <br /> • progress. City will provide observation. <br /> 4. Approximately 40 submittal/shop drawing packages will be reviewed, with 50 percent <br /> requiring resubmittal. An average review and processing time of four hours per <br /> submittal/resubmittal (60 total reviews) is used for budgeting <br /> 5. Approximately 30 RFI packages will be reviewed. An average review and processing time <br /> of three hours per RFI is used for budgeting. <br /> • 6. Approximately 5 change order packages will be reviewed. An average review and <br /> processing time of 8 hours per change order is used for budgeting. <br /> 7. No Operations and Maintenance manual will be completed by HDR. City will review/accept <br /> O&M submittals from the Contractor. If requested, O&M Manuals can be reviewed by HDR <br /> as a submittal. <br /> 8.
